Methods
for Breeding Tetras
Much of the success in
breeding tetras depends on the treatment the fish have
received months before actual spawning. It is best to
obtain eight or so youngsters from a reliable source
and then rear them to maturity. When the females begin
to fill up with eggs the sexes are separated for a week
or two and given the best in the way of aquarium management
and feeding. This process is called conditioning.
